1. The health insurance business of the inmates are handled by the medical hospitals selected by the central health insurance department and the Taitung hospital of the ministry of health and welfare. Providing treatments for the inmates such as intimal medicine department, family medicine division, psychiatry, Chinese medicine, dentistry and gynecology.
2. When the inmates are unwell or ill, we have cooperative hospital doctors available on working days. When the inmates are in need, medical hospital treatments can be registered and arranged at the same day.
3. Inmates who have multiple chronic diseases will be registered and administered by the prison system, physiological exams will be taken daily and the records will be provided to doctors for proper medical treatments or to take medical treatments on bail.
4. Special or appropriate diets which are recommended by physicians or doctors are provided or purchased to the inmates who are in need.
